Ruparelia Group was recognized for their contribution to the tourism industry by bagging three nominations, the highest by a group, in the Ekkula Pearl of Africa Tourism Awards and Exhibition.
Speke Resort Munyonyo, a subsidiary of the Ruparelia Group, was nominated for Best Service/Luxury Standard Hotel. Ruparelia Group as a group was nominated for Best Supporting Corporate Company and Best Tourism Investor.

Speke Resort Munyonyo which stands a chance to win an award as Best Service/Luxury Standard Hotel offers the ultimate luxury accommodation and leisure facilities, conference and business meetings.

Greg Petzer, the General Manager of Speke Resort Munyonyo described the nomination as ‘a great honor’ and was confident that they will win the award because ‘the team has worked hard to maintain standards and excellence’.
