1. Explore World renowned Secret Islands
Tired of the rainy Christmas holidays in Kampala, head-out to the Ssese Islands. Comprising an archipelago of 84 islands, they offer white-sand beaches, celestial sunsets, bonfires on the beach and a remote location in the middle of Lake Victoria. 2. Take a game walk
Lake Mburo National Park, Mbarara
Lake Mburo national park offers the best game viewing in Uganda – crocodiles & hippos in the lake, diversity of antelopes, as well a huge number of water birds. It is the only park in which visitors can walk (accompanied by a ranger). If you are lucky enough, you could see a leopard. Also meet the Herders of the long-horn Ankole Cattle.
3. Cruise on the Nile
Jinja Town.
The Nile which is the longest river in Africa & the world, it runs from Uganda all the way to Egypt for 4,132 miles. Whether you are family or larger group, you will find the perfect cruise to suit you. Choose from a Nile Sunset Cruise or a Lunch cruise or both.
4. Watch Uganda’s Giant fly bird
Mabamba Swamp & Queen Elizabeth National Park
This rare, giant aquatic bird is a must see on a trip. The Shoebill (Balaeniceps rex) or Shoe-billed Stork prefers to reside in undisturbed swamps that are mostly associated with lungfish and frogs who serve as its meal – it’s still possible to track.
5. Experience the ‘Wild Skies over Kajjansi’
